Turtleback Mt. Nature Hike

Meet at Island Market parking lot to carpool at 2:30
or at trailhead parking lot off Wild Rose Lane at 3:00
Cost: by donation to Orcas Rec
We will walk the South Trail to two beautiful overlooks, including Ship's Peak. This 2 hour walk is uphill and somewhat strenuous. We will walk slow, but it is a climb . Adults, locals, guests to the island, youth are welcome. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult. Ruthie Dougherty, the Land Bank's Orcas Preserve Steward, will be our guide. Since parking is limited, we will carpool from Island Market.
