Learn about the medicinal values of easy to find plants. We’ll learn about common ways to use specific plants and make a first aid kit, tinctures (extracts), teas, disinfectants, anti-biotics, anti-virals, and poultices. Learn basic herbal vocabulary, care for cough, cold, flu, bleeding, stings, sunburns, and more. Participants will leave with handouts and some basics to start their kits, share knowledge and care for others.
Ann Sullivan has a passion for learning about Medicinal plants and sharing that enthusiasm and knowledge with others. She will be coming to Orcas from Eugene.
