Summer is a time for exploration and creativity. This summer we will be offering classes in ceramic sculpture/pottery at Ellen Wherrette's home studio. We will explore the imagination, while creating forms which celebrate the natural environment. This may take the shape of fantasy insects, other plant, animal and mineral forms, or perhaps something completely abstract. There is no limit to the imagination! The student will finish his or her project by glazing, choosing from a selection of 25 brilliant colors. The completed work will be fired and ready to display in your home or garden. This class will be fun and challenging for both boys and girls with an interest in the visual arts.
Ellen Wherrette has been sculpting, painting, and drawing her entire life, and enjoys teaching children of all ages.
